Northern Hemisphere Snow Cover

The following two charts show the variance in Snow Cover over the early 21t century. In the standard deviation chart it is seen the highest variance is in fall from October to late Novermber.

In summer when only Greenland and a few Mountains contain snow the variance between years is very small. Consequently on the histogram, days with near zero anomaly occur most.
